Whats to encrypt? We talking movies music and tv shows here, everyone has seen them or will see them....
You can add home movies and pictures and whatnot to Plex.

No need to limit a Plex server to store content.

Besides, profiling would be hindered by proper encryption as well.

The version I have now on ATV4 is newer than what I remember, which was a bunch of folders.
Also, I thought Infuse was more granular in regards to categories.
I thought there was a option for grouping by Actor among other categories,
Grouping by actor is currently not possible AFAIK (would like that too, plus by director).
Somethings I can't seem to find:
1: Search?
2: Playlist?
3: Item count?
4: On Deck screen?
5: When I launch Infuse, I am presented with a screen of three icons. Movies, TV Shows and Library.
Is there away to launch straight into Library as this screen is pretty useless as it presents no media for immediate use.
1. Yes (top of home screen or library menu)
2. No.
3. Yes (library menu or library settings)
4. The top of the home screen by default shows items you are currently watching and most recently added items (can be configured in the settings under "up next"). This is also shown on the ATV's top shelf if the Infuse icon is in the top row and selected, so you can jump e.g. to the next TV episode right from the ATV home screen.
5. Currently not possible. But you can add your own favorites to the home screen, including items from the library menu and categories.
In regard to this statement:
"while the Plex library only needs to be updated once on the server (however, you can sync watched status across multiple ATVs with Infuse using its trakt.tv integration)."
are you saying the "watched status" is not available using Plex with multiple ATVs?
Plex does that on the central media server. I was just pointing out that Infuse can track watched status across devices even though it does not use a central library.

This is all getting a bit off topic. I suggest you use the Infuse thread if you have more questions (there is a Firecore representative there who answers questions and is interested in user feedback).

Thanks.
You were better than the Infuse threads I found. :)
I will press on setting up infuse thanks to your insight.

The main question is, if these three cloud services are going to remove copyrighted content from their service, then what is the point of Plex Cloud in the first place?

And have Plex got nothing to say about the issue...?

All unanswered, AFAICT.

The base version is free, but to get all features you need the Pro version. You can either use the yearly subscription via in-app purchase, or get the separate Infuse Pro app from the app store.

For the additional features of the Pro version, see this page (at the bottom):

About the only thing I see there that I would be interested in would be the audio upgrade, but none of that is currently useable with the Sonos home theater products I have here. There is a big campaign going on at the Sonos forums for the past couple of years to get them to do a "proper" home theater setup that can handle DTS and the newer true formats, but Sonos seems more interested in coming up with silly all-in-one tabletop stuff like the new Playbase. I'm sure its a neat product, but it doesn't take them to the next level like DTS would, or any of the new multichannel formats.
