Hello, I'd like to know if there is any other Media Server that works better than Plex. Basically to be used remotely and across Apple environment.

Thank you.

"Better" is relative and subjective. In my experiences, Plex has been perfect in serving media to all of our devices in the house... regardless of OS. Android, Windows, iOS, macOS... Kindle Fire stick, Roku, "smart" DVD players.... everything.

If you just want the player to be on the system being used, there is Kodi (XBMC) which is where Plex came from, you can try VLC as well as a simple player.

Plex is very good but I also like Emby (formerly MediaBrowser).

Thank you for your answers.:)
