Plex problem

Plex works as always on the LG and Roku but after the latest update on the Apple TV, I get "conversion failed. transcoder failed to start up". . When I start a movie on Plex using the computer and go back to the Apple TV that movie will play. WTF?

I highly, HIGHLY recommend you ditch the Plex app and use Infuse. It is so much better in virtually every way and it is continually updated.

Infuse is excellent and I use it. Unfortunately, it doesn't support remote access like Plex.

Eh, For playback it does? & you still have Plex running stuff in the background.

I use Plex…but not a whole lot. Checked into Infuse and I recall there was one feature I use in Plex that requires a paid Infuse account.

OP…have you tried monkeying around with the transcoding settings in Plex?
