Jan 3, 2026 #1 Plex works as always on the LG and Roku but after the latest update on the Apple TV, I get "conversion failed. transcoder failed to start up". . When I start a movie on Plex using the computer and go back to the Apple TV that movie will play. WTF?

Checked into Infuse and I recall there was one feature I use in Plex that requires a paid Infuse account. OP…have you tried monkeying around with the transcoding settings in Plex?
