I'm a little confused about this new USB-C port on the new Macbooks. Will you be able to plug in a regular USB flash drive or other regular sized USB cable directly into the new port? Or will you need an additional dongle adapter? Seems like a hassle to have to carry around a dongle adapter in case I may need to plug in a standard USB cable.

I was under the impression that you could plug in USB flash drives directly, but then I saw this USB-C to USB adapter on the Apple Store...

Actually, one multi-port adapter like this will likely serve the needs for most users.
