I went from a 5 to a 6+ at first with a lot of trepidation. The first week, it felt ridiculous and unwieldy. After the second week, I found that I could so much more with the extra screen space that I would normally use my iPad for.

With more and more activities moving to mobile platforms, I think the larger format is the way to go. I'm awaiting my new 7+ to arrive in a couple of weeks!

Even the 7 matte black is hard to hold. So slippery! I guess I have to put a case on it

I'm also considering a 7+ and I also have a 6s now (combined with an iPad mini).

Main reasons would be battery, bigger screen and better photo's.
Which are the good reasons, if I read correctly, to upgrade to a plus.

I wear normal to skinny pants, so I'm going to check in the apple store and put the 7+ in my pocket. :D
70% of my time is work/home/some school/city so that would be ok I guess. Sports with a + will definitely be something new.

regarding the Steve Jobs comment: Usage of smartphones has changed a lot. Smartphones were mostly phones back that then.

Also, I'm tired that the iPad mini is treated as an afterthought. I use my iPhone all day and when I come home I want to put it aside and use my iPad mini. But the processor is at least a generation behind (still capable but the difference is noticeable ) & the hardware design is older (lock screen on the top, very annoying).

My Samsung S7 was perfect size, the body was nearly the same as my 7 but the screen was 5.1", hopefully Apple can do the same in the next redesign.

If anyone cares I sold the S7 to get an iPhone 7 as I prefer iOS.

The plus. Go big or go home I say. I've been using phablets since 2012 so it's always going to be the plus. I had the 6+, the 6S + and now the 7+. Not only is there more real estate but it has a higher resolution. 1080p is the minimum I'd accept in a phone. It also has a better battery life. This year the plus has the extra bonus of the dual lens camera.
