So I sold my 7 Plus in lieu of the pending releases...
Former to that was a 6S Plus as well.

For the past 3 days, I've been using a older 6S 4.7 naked...and I have to say, it's sorta a nice change in terms of size. Now if the new phone is similar in size, but with larger screen, I think it's a win across the board - albit not feeling the current leaked designs.

I would not rock any of my phones naked though (except for my current beater), but man, it's sorta like a breath of fresh air rocking a caseless 4.7 sized phone.

Although I have an appreciation for the iPhone Plus features and larger display. I do agree the 4.7 inch fits my hand comfortably and is one of my favorite iPhone sizes today.

i thought so also. had my iPhone 6 since launch but the past month (up until the new iPhone) I have a mophie juice pack plus battery case so the added weight and size is making me get used to a bigger device which i think i'm going to bigger route this time around.

I agree, I moved from a 6s plus to a 7. While the 7 is not my favorite iPhone release, it's still much easier to use in comparison to the plus. I'm looking forward to new iPhones with smaller bezels so I can have a larger screen in a smaller form factor.

Gave the Plus a 2-3 month trial. Just wasn't for me. The bigger display in smaller form factor of the iPhone 8 is interesting albeit I don't think I'll be upgrading this go around.

yes, OP are right - but still - the screen is so nice to use! It's a mini mini iPad that almost fit i your pockets!

Whatever makes you happy (I am not being sarcastic).

I've had a 6+ since February 2015 and I traded it in for a 6s+ in September 2015. Took me less than 5 minutes to get used to the size and I won't go back to a smaller phone (maybe a bigger one).

The 6+ was used caseless and the 6s+ has been caseless since I got it. Looks the same as the day I got it - which is to say, it's undamaged.

I hate cases.

Been using the 4.7 screen size since the day 1 and can't even imagine having to deal with the plus size behemoth.

I didn't find it anywhere near as good enough as the iPad mini for iPad usage. Practically no vertical space in landscape mode. Okay for widescreen video playback, not so much for web browsing.

Curious if you think the plus is WAY too big, why did you buy the 7+ after having the 6+? ;). I think the plus is the perfect size and am waiting to see if I even want the 8/10 since it's going to be smaller.

I might be one of the few who is owning a 6 now and thinking of upgrading to the bigger 7S+.

Getting older and harder to read the small text on the 4.7" screen. Planning to run the 7S+'s 5.5" screen in zoom in mode, so showing the same number of icons on the screen like the 6 but in larger format.

Before you love 4.7 but after using Plus for while i feel bigger is better

I will stick with big size even new iphone 8 i will go with 5.5 /

4.7 here as well.
the 7 Plus was too big for me, tried for a month.. I needed acrobatic skills for the Plus, I don't have those skills :p

For me, still the ultimate screen size so far. Really excited for the new form factor of the iPhone 8. I guess we regular sized (4.7'') iPhone 7 fans will very quickly adjust to the new form factor of this years iPhone

I thought the Plus was crazy big at first, but quickly got used to it.

Just sold my 7+ in advance of the 8 coming out. In its place I'm using a Xiaomi Mi Max 2 (6.44 inch) - love it even bigger!

I've never even entertained buying a plus as I need a phone I can put in my pocket. If I want to use an iPad, I use an iPad. The gap for me doesn't need bridging.

Exactly my thought. I guess a lot of people don't want to buy a tablet separately but still wants to enjoy the benefits.

If you are comparing the rumored 7S, 7S+ and 8 sizes, yes that blend of big screen in 7S body is the best. But... the expected high price of 8 is turning me (and a lot of others) off.
I just don't buy the 1,000 dollar rumor because the note 8 is under 1,000 and Apple would be a fool to go over 1,000 facing off with the note over the holiday season.

I hope you are right but disagree.

First, its apple we are talking about. It's the first redesign in like 3 years. The demand that is going to cause, coupled with the limited supply, means that they will have no problems selling all the 8's they can make at a high price.

Second, they will still have a range of other phones in the lower price ranges to satisfy that market.

I very much doubt that Apple cares how Samsung prices their phones. I also very much doubt the basic (64 GB) OLED iPhone will be above 1000 $.
