I can't choose between the 12.9 or he 9.7....I like the new true tone/ color gamut on the 9.7, as well as the screen size of the 12.9.

I like to draw....lol....HELP...

I can't seem to find too many direct comparison videos on YouTube to help with my decision.

There's a number of YTs that can help you. I found this list with a quick search.

I can't comment on the quality of this one, but its on the top of my search list.

I have not seen the true-tone myself and I am sure it is a very nice feature. I have been IPad owner since the first released of the iPad and I have own the iPad all the way to Air 2 and Pro 12.9. I enjoy the 12.9 a lot more especially with split screen the size certainly help and I do use split screen a lot. So, back to the true-tone. IPad never had it all these years, I can leave without it. I preferred the size and the performance of the IPP 12.9.

I'd say that the Pro 9.7" isn't as expensive and has significantly better cameras and a slightly better screen in terms of colour gamut, brightness, etc than the iPad Pro 12.9". The 12.9" has obviously a much bigger screen, more RAM (4gb compared to 2gb on the 9.7") and also USB 3 for much faster file transfers between cameras and computers.

Both are great tablets and I'm sure you'll be happy with whichever one you choose. I just got the Pro 9.7" and it's the best iPad I've ever used.

Try to go to an apple store, bestbuy or other. That's what I did last night and for me. The big difference was screen size. On the smaller pro. Certain websites rendered in a mobile view. Whereas the larger pro got the desktop version. That's will vary by site.

I guess try to think of what you plan to use the ipad for beyond drawing.

Yea, what he said. It's all about whether you prefer portability or this thing will be sitting at a desk mostly. Even just using in bed or on the couch felt awkward for me with the 12.9. I ended up returning mine and going with the 9.7 which is perfect in my opinion. You can always buy and give it a shot and return if you don't like it. For me, it just felt too large for normal use though.

It's very simple answer and it's all about the size, I bought the 12.9" but it's way to big for a tablet.
tablet is not a computer and any one that telling you that is a bully.
but if you are one that don't need a computer those who just surf the net texting e mails so it for you. the 9.7"
it's a perfect size for it it's portable. fitures are very small and every year will changed. if you like the pencil buy the pro if not save your money and buy the air 2

Depends on your uses. I just returned a 12.9 in favor of the 9.7.
As I've stated before I hated the keyboard on the larger model because Apple omitted the split keyboard option. I have larger hands and it was still a chore to to type with your thumbs while holding the tablet.
I don't play many games but the ones I do generally involve simulation and the larger model was a handful.
I can't tell much difference between the screens, look similar to me.
I just returned from vacation with the 12.9 and I noticed when I needed to look something up I generally reached for my iPhone 6S Plus instead of the ginormous iPad. Now that I have the 9.7 I seem to reaching for it more.
They're both great tablets but I honestly believe the 12.9 was designed to be used primarily for table use.

I second what everyone here has said and agree. For me I just got a 12.9 after the announcement of the 9.7 and am not looking back. I couldn't be happier honestly. I have had every iPad from the start but balked at the 12.9 pro. That was a mistake. Very happy now.

Same here, was waiting for 9.7 release only to buy 12.9. Since I use IPad 90% at home portability is not a big factor for me while screen real estate is what 12.9 is all about.

I'm the same on every single point.
