iPhone X Plz help with iCloud

My iPhone won’t backup it keeps saying not enough storage. I’ve only used 3.5 gbs. I’ve been having issues with this ever since I downgraded from 11.4 to 11.3.1, I’m now on 12.1 beta.

Whats your phone storage and how much are you trying to back up? If youre trying to back up 32GB on 5GB that wont be possible 😛 spend that $1 a month and get 50GB of icloud storage to avoid this in the future. Otherwise, click on manage storage and find things to delete from your icloud. Or there is always the option of backing up through iTunes on your computer.

Yeah I have under 5gb worth of stuff. I honestly don’t even care about iCloud I just get tired of getting the notifications from it. Saying your iPhone hasn’t been backed up in 6 weeks.

Well thats the amount of stuff you have in your icloud. How much stuff do you have on your phone itself?

Settings > general > iPhone Storage. Thats how much it is trying to compress and back up.

If you dont want the backup popup, you may need to just turn off icloud backup altogether:
Go to Settings > (your apple ID) > icloud > iCloud Backup and turn it off.

O ok, well it would always backup before when I had like 15gb used.

iCloud may be compressing data, but sooner or later it won’t fit - as seems to be the case.

The fix is pretty straightforward.
