Is there anyone in / near Seattle that will drain, disassemble, clean, re-assemble, and refill the PowerMac G5 Quad's liquid cooling systems?

Unfortunately I have the dual-pump version and have never worked with liquid cooling systems. The Mac Store wants more than $200 for this, when I only paid $50 for the quad anyway. Recently my quad went over 90C, so it's in desperate need now.

What is a reasonable price for someone else to do the LCS rework? Is there anyone in/around Seattle that can do it well for cheap? Any recommendations?

$200 is more than fair. It doesn’t matter what you bought it for, $200 to fix what was once a $3300 computer is more than fair.

Treat it like a car. Just because the once $100k S-Class can now be had for $3k, doesn’t mean it’ll now be cheap to fix ;)

$200 is not easy cash for everyone. I will be reading some more tutorials on how to do this myself and hope I don't F it up.

On a side note, has anyone been successful in converting a Quad's LCS to air-only cooling? If I am going to spend money, it'd be towards a high end air-only cooling solution since this is far easier to maintain in the long term.

I didn't say that $200 isn't a small amount of money, I said it's more than fair for the work required on that computer. It's a 11-12yr old 1-off model of a computer that sold rather poorly. $200 to not ruin the whole computer is still quite the fair price

Hell, in Ukraine 200 dollars is the average salary for most of us. I am only getting more because I am in IT for the government. Thats about 75000 Hryven' Ukrainian money which is like 1500 a month in USA.
