iOS png and transparency

Hi,
does anyone have problem when adding png:s including transparency to an iPhone App? It seems as is there a small shadow around the image. Is there a way to convert transparent png:s in order to make it work in an App?

I've never had any problems with transparency. One of my apps uses five large and mostly transparent images on top of each other and move them around independently, and I don't see any problems.

It sounds as if there's something wrong with the images you try to use.

Never had a problem here either. How are you creating these PNGs, MACloop?

alpha

i just do this

image.alpha = transparencyAmount;

and that should make your image transparent

Thank you all for the answers! It is good to know that you all are able to user pngs without problems. It is probably something that we have to do differently when creating our png:s. I will have to talk to our designer about this issue.
