Using some Photoshop .PNG files in a video project, but they look terrible in my QT movie. Any suggestions on how to get these files to looking their best?

In Photoshop, be sure to scale it to the same size as your video resolution.

Just a note: PNG files don't have to match your frame size. FCE crashes if I bring a PSD file in that differs from the frame size, so I like to match them.

Try a JPG and see if that helps. Never hurts to try.

Try using jpg or tiff. Those tend to be more video friendly formats.

If you are working in a DV project in FCE your PNG files will take a big quality hit. That's just the nature of the beast.
