I'm contemplating the probability of a release tonight, in my time zone. I suppose it all depends on how quickly an elite group of iOS security hackers can 'polish', test and release the app. I suppose it's a bit of a long shot to hope for tonight (as for me, that would only give them ~4 hours from the Twitter post). At any rate, tomorrow looks promising.

Post Script: Anyone else think it's rather interesting that a completely new app is being released? I wonder how likely it'll be based on a Safari vulnerability, being released in a form analogous to JailBreakMe. That'd be awesome. If not, I wonder what name they'll choose. I hope something a bit more prestigious/'cooler' than redsn0w and greenp0ison.

It's gonna be an issue. With no way to restore to non-current firmwares, it's going to get messy. I like to do a clean restore every so often, but it won't be an option with this jailbreak.

Yeah i am the same way with all my devices PCs etc.

I am gonna be gentle with this one and only install the absolute stuff i want/need not much experimenting like i did in the past thats for sure.

Would be great if part of this whole new JB was a way to restore but that is beyond wishful thinking . Either way i got my blobs just in case .

Not at all. Actually just got back from seeing it at a 7;30 showing. You should sign up for Filmmetro.com for free screenings in your city. I saw Man on A Ledge yesterday. Two GREAT movies. Act of Valor was sad but that's expected of course

I didn't know about that site. Thanks for the heads up! And yeah, I figured it wouldn't be all sunshine and roses, but just the fact that it's active duty Navy Seals in the movie...that's pretty darn cool. Glad to know it's worth seeing.
