Podcast app keeps opening

Periodically, the podcasts app will open on my AppleTV. I could be watching a movie, Facebook Watch or something else but every so often the podcast app opens. I Have three AppleTVs and it does it on all of them. Is it some airplay thing maybe? However no devices are connected.

anyone know what is happening or any solutions?

I have the same problem and cannot find a solution. I use the podcast app for Twit.tv and have recently started using the Podcast app on my Apple TV since I've been working from home a lot.

At least once an evening, sometimes more, the family will be watching YouTube or another show movie and suddenly the Apple TV switches to the podcast app and starts playing the last episode I was listening too (even if I finished that episode on the my iPhone already). This will happen even if I have forced closed the Podcast app on my Apple TV. I'll switch to my Xbox to play a video game and then switch back to my Apple TV and the Podcast app will be playing again.

I haven't been able to find a solution so, I've started to look into other podcast apps for the Apple TV and iPhone.
