When I updated to iOS 6 the app crashes every time it's launched. I updated to the app's 1.1 version and that hasn't fix it. At least if I could get the app to open ONCE I could backup the subscriptions to my iCloud account then delete and reinstall the app.

Any suggestions or some misery to keep me company? I rely on this app heavily during frequent long commutes.

I've lost streaming, access to my subscriptions and any functional utility until the next update. Or until I finally cave and buy Downcast. Even then, I would (or will) have to rebuild my extensive list of podcasts.

Delete the Podcast App from your iPhone, and reinstall it?

Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately, in the process I'd lose all my subscriptions. There are a lot of them and they're not synced to iCloud.

I deleted the Podcast app from my iPod touch 4 as the podcast app keeps crashing whenever I unlock the screen. Since I synch this iPod with my Mac instead of directly getting podcasts, I was able to fix the crashing issues.

I can listen to my podcasts from the Music app.
