Podcast "Playing Next" list disappears and reappears!

Has anyone seen this since iOS 15? I hand add podcasts to my "Playing Next" list...but it seems at some point, I think when new podcasts are auto downloaded through the week, the list disappears! And it's gone - when the existing podcast finishes, nothing will play. However, I discovered that if I add just one podcast to the Playing Next list, I do a "Play Last" to accomplish this, then the whole list reappears with the new podcast added at the end.

This is maddening - I don't suppose anyone has seen this or has an idea how to fix it?

There is a big thread on Apple's support forums about the issue, and it happens to me as well.

No fix as of now.. 😟

@Sorinut which thread are you referring to, do you have a link? I found a couple but there were only a few responses. I would like to put a watch on that thread too in case a fix is discovered or a beta fixes the problem! Thanks
