Ever since it was introduced, Apple's Podcasts app has not been great at handling files manually added to iTunes and marked as podcasts. Eventually they smoothed it out enough that it was semi-manageable.

However, with the latest update, of the "5 least recent" (manually added) podcast episodes I'm synching, only one shows up in the actual app on my phone. iTunes accounts for the other 4 podcasts being added as I watch them synch to the phone and see the memory taken up. Have switched back to the previous version of Podcasts until this is resolved or someone can help me figure out what is going on.

Anyone else run across this?

By the way, it's doing this on both my iPhone 4 and iPad mini, both running 7.0.3

By the way, it doesn't happen when you first install the app, only after you synch back to itunes after you've finished an episode.
