Is there any way to keep your list of saved episodes on each podcast and being able to delete them locally?
I need the "bookmarks" list so to speak, not to carry them around forever.
Maybe someone can help.
Thank you all!

Do you use iTunes to manage your podcasts? If so, I believe this is what the "Love" function is for. It allows you to flag an episode as a Favorite without actually saving it.

Currently using apple's Podcasts app on the ipod, so would be great to do something like that directly there.
Doing it the way you suggest, does it reflect in the Podcast app the same way it does in the Music app?
Would be great, but not sure that's the case...
At least, i'm missing it!

You might try to look for third party podcasts apps if Apple's Podcast apps doesn't work anymore as far as the 'like' feature. I love iCatcher and also Pocket Casts is nice but not sure if either has this functionality. Also Downcast is still very nice (they promise an update for a long time already). I would check with the developer before you buy. I couldn't find it in the description. I also couldn't find it in the iCatcher app as far as I could see.

Thanks so much.
It never worked inside the ios apple's podcasts app as far as I can tell. Actually, my ipod broke arguably because of this, lost some important data as a result, and is annoying me nonstop now pushing every time I go online tons of episodes I just want to keep listed apart. May be a good time to look for another app, agree. Other only and poor alternative I can think of is keep a text note as workaround. Not that satisfying. Kind of astonishing for a so basic thing to ask for at this point (reminds me the lack of copy+paste on the early ios iterations).
