I've gotten into podcasts a lot over the past couple years after I started listening to NPR and seeking out the podcasts of their radio shows. The ones I currently listen to:

This American Life - obviously, since it is the source of my username. This is probably the quintessential podcast.
Serial - Loved both seasons of this; if they ever come out with a third season, I'm all ears
NPR Politics - the only political podcast I can stand to listen to at this point.
Fresh Air - Started listening to this on the radio first. Too many episodes for me to listen to all of them, but I listen to the ones I'm most interested in. I've discovered new books, music, and things to research from this one.
The World in Words - the linguistics major side of me loves this one. Their reports on endangered languages interest me the most.

That's all I listen to at the moment, but I'm interested to discover more :)
