Podcasts not syncing

Not sure where this post belongs but as its an iTunes issue I have put it in here for apple music.

I have 8 podcast subscriptions on my iPhone but only 3 are showing on my mac using iTunes. They happen to be the three I have been subscribed to for longest. Hitting refresh on the bottom of the screen isn't changing anything on iTunes so how do I get the others to show up?
