I'm hoping that I might be able to get a few recommendations on a nice point and shoot camera that also has HD 720p at least video recording as a secondary feature. I'm going to be going to college in a couple weeks so I just want something that can take decent photos and videos so I'll have something to remember my college experience with.

I was also considering the Kodak Zi8, and the Mino camcorders but I'm not sure how good the photo quality on them would be especially since they lack a flash and I was hoping for a good balance between video and stills. Am I just dreaming or is this possible in the price range i'm looking at?
