I updated the app to have the new functions (pins, search, enhanced Apple Watch) on iOS 18! It's out now. I will update with the iOS 26 version when submissions open up in September.

Why not just… ā€œPoint Toā€?
Good idea. Done.

Version 3.0... out now!

I was contacted by someone who said they use this for aligning radio antennas, and they had some requests for features. I've added them as options. :)

• Additional options for precise data
• Map appearance options
• Recolor pins & change their symbols

-----------

For the future, I'm prepared to send off the version to enable the iOS 26 redesign when those open in September. I'm doing an attempt at revising the icon. What do you think of this?

Those icons are a huge improvement! Congrats.

And yes, antenna orientation is a good use of your app, I hadn’t thought about it. You could include this and other possible uses in the App description. It would help people to realize that they might need your app, or at least find it useful.

PS: your app isn’t available in the EU, apparently…

I am unable to comply with the DSA trader regulations, so I can’t release in the EU. šŸ™ Wish it wasn’t the case, but $99 a year to provide free apps is already steep for me, I can’t afford to pay for a PO box/business phone number on top.

The DSA trader regulations is that new thing that was implemented to be offered in the EU store, that requires you to provide an address and a phone number? Weird, there are apps that I have even purchased here on the EU iOS App Store that don’t have that data.

The latest game I’ve downloaded, a Chinese game from Chengdu Yixinhang named Bubble Shooter, if you go to the provider section, it just says: ā€œThis dev hasn’t identified as a trader of this app. If you’re a consumer that lives on the Economic European Space, consumer’s rights don’t apply to the agreement between the provider and youā€

That said, the last update of this app is from a year ago, so maybe it still doesn’t apply until the developer submits a new update.
