Pointer disappears?

Annoying little problem!

When switching users back to me the pointer arrowhead disappears!

All I can do is shutdown the power on my C2D MacBook and it's fine when it starts up.

Have a bluetooth mouse and the other user has a larger pointer set for accessibility. Any thoughts?😕
