Just glad it is finally dead. I think the idea of getting you out and about is admirable but I got so sick of hearing about this stupidgame.
Wow, you don't want to hear about it so you're glad it's "dead". Hate to burst your bubble but the only reason it was popular is because of the Pokémon company. It's 1 big update away from being truly amazing, I think.

Pokémon anything is huge. In my mind the only reason this game doesn't have continued use is because it's not a traditional Pokémon game. Give us the option to battle pvp but trading would ruin the game. Let me delete those stupid eggs I have to walk 3 miles for, to get a tentacool. I say 3 miles, but with the poor implementation of gps tracking it's usually 5 miles and don't go over 4 mph or it might not count anything. And lol at the buddy system, I choose pikachu because it takes 1km to get 1 candy. I have walked 9km with him and while the game shows that, I, have indeed walked 9km I've only got 4 candies

Wish I could give niantic some real feedback but they aren't interested, they made their fortune.

This is great news for me at least. I hated hearing about and worse was that apple seemed to give it credit by giving it time at the last apple event.
Finally. I hate the summer. Hot weather, rude people because of the heat. Horrible pop summer songs. The worse is the tech news or whatever little news there is. I dread the next 2017 trending app.

The Watch app will come out right around the time everyone is playing Mario or something else.

I'm pumped about Mario but it won't take Pokémon trainers away from Pokémon Go. The few trainers left are somewhat serious about the game.
I just hope Super Mario Run is compelling to play because the other runners in the App Store are good for 15 minutes, then delete.

People keep writing about the "demise" of Pokemon Go. It has not gone anywhere. Rumors of its death are premature.
It might have the lost some eyeballs in the trendy, passively-interested crowd who have moved on to the next new thing, but the game is not "dead" even if daily active players is off its peak.

I don't play it but I see how my wife and young son have enjoyed it. My wife doesn't play games...but she plays Pokemon go. Anecdotal experience aside, all the Pokestop clusters in my area are swarmed with people of all demographics.

We are two peas in a pod. I'll add that I hate social media as well though.

When it launched I imagined they'd release Gen 2 pokemon when its popularity dipped.

I cannot imagine disliking something that much. It just doesn't make sense to me.
