Has anyone had trouble loading or playing Poke'mon Go on a JB phone? I currently have a 5S, 6S plus, and Air 2 that are all jailbroken on Pangu running 9.02 and on all the devices, the app either crashes or as in the case of the 5S, the app tries to log into the servers and I get a message that the game servers are busy. My wife has a 6 that is not JB and the app works fine. I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem.

I don't play this game. However, I've noticed they've made a tweak in cydia that bypasses JB detection for it. That's probably what you need.

Pokemon go will crash itself when it detects a jailbroken device

As starkcity mentioned, there have been a multitude of tweaks released to bypass the jailbreak check

I'm jailbroken, but not with no problems accessing and playing in the game. I guess if you have some kind of location spoofer installed it may fail. I don't have one though.

There was an article I read that told how to use location spoofers in the game both for jailbroken iPhones and rooted Android phones. It does work. It also mentioned that there were ways to block the game from detecting a JB/root.

To prevent the game from detecting the JB on iOS, install tsProtector. I think it costs a few bucks but it's worth it. I've been using it so my banks app doesn't give me the JB warning each time I use the app.

My daughter wants to play it but I still can't get it to work. Installed the latest tsprotector and still nothing.

I don't play Pokemon but I did get it to work with my banks app. Go to tsProtector in settings and the open Black List Apps. Select add and then select the app. It should work then.

Make sure under filtering you select Black List Apps.
