i've asked before about making a pstars client for the iphone and it was deemed to be impossible since pokerstars does not have public apis. However, would it be possible to build a program that interfaces with your home machine running the pstars client, and take the info from your pc or mac client and send it to the iphone and display it onto a touch friendly overlay, and your commands would be sent to the pc and the actions would then be performed... thanks for your ideas ;)

You could do it over VNC. Or take a screenshot of the pstars client and send it to your iphone.

Building a "slave" app to the pstars client will be really hard. You will have to read the pstars-client's memory and decipher the client's memory layout. Also pstars and co. do a lot of anti cheating and anti botting so you their memory might be encrypted.

if you need info on reading other process' memory space on OS X here's a little blog post I've written about: http://www.voidzone.org/readprocessmemory-and-writeprocessmemory-on-os-x/ (there's a link to a pdf with deeper info on that topic too)
