This is exactly what i think when i read the comments. It seems iPhone users ain’t sure which storage they (will) need.
Well with no expandable storage.
You're likely to go for the option thats overkill simply just in case.

128GB will be the sweet spot for many but Apple dont offer it on the Pro models at least.

Since going from lowest to highest memory capacity cost me a grand total of $23 I think it was well worth it for me.

I carry everything onboard so cell coverage is not an issue. And have room for 4K video without a second thought.

Since you got a great deal and shoot 4K video I can see the worth.

256 with 206 free. It was 130 free before I restored in order jailbreak recently and I have no idea what was taking up all of that space :p

128 with 35 available. That’s after some management when I was getting low. I know 128 is exactly the sweet spot for my needs. Less storage would be very problematic and more is unnecessary.

4 gigs left on my 64 gig X.

Just picked up a 128 gig 11 that I'll set up tomorrow night.

iPhone 11 128GB, 66.3GB used, 61.7GB available. I keep a lot of photos, music, and videos locally stored. I also have some large games that take up 2-3GB each.

Not the iPhone but on iPad, only have 88.9 GB free on 512 GB and stupid Photos app is stuck at "Downloading Originals". From experience, Photos can act wonky unless the device has 20% free space so that means I need to keep ~102 GB empty.

Oh, joy.

256GB 11 Pro Max, 103GB available. I could have managed with 128GB, but not available on the Pros. I find I’m more relaxed and download more stuff to keep on the iPhone

How do you know what will be on those phones in the next few years?

Just because people have not have loads on now they could add more as the year goes on

Even mine I’ve used up 90GB on films alone past few weeks

I think 256 and 512 are over kill 128 is the sweet spot
Yes, 128 GB is the sweet spot, i agree with that. And i do not have an idea if the iPhone users, who buy an iPhone with 512 GB, really need that, the answer is actually “No”, i believe; at least for most of them. Also it seems that would be nice if Apple had offered 128 GB storage for Pro models.
