Are you talking about strangers or people you know? My response to a stranger would be "you are kidding right".

No I don't let others hold my iPhone. Only person is me and my wife (if she needs to use it).

People can try the phone out and hold it at their local carrier. When someone drops or scratches your iPhone they'll say sorry but your stuck with the problem

Every new iPhone comes out and this question is asked again. Common sense says no

Every time the new iPhone comes out, you also get a 90-day accidental damage coverage if you're smart enough to choose the right card. It's also the period of time when you're most likely to be asked if they can see your new phone. There's no reason for people to be so uptight about it.

If they drop and shatter your iPhone, Amex to the rescue!

Sure, its just a phone. This is assuming its someone I know. I wouldn't give a complete stranger my iPhone in fear they'd steal it. Lol.

How do you react when others ask, "May I see your brand-new iPhone?"

quite honored as they wouldn't ask me if they didn't like my iPhone. but seriously, i do let them hold it. there's nothing to it. it's just a simple can i check it out.....

Depends on who "others" are.

A random guy at the train stop? Uh... no. My wife? I had better not even consider anything other than a resounding "YES".
