No, never under any circumstances.
You can look, but DO NOT TOUCH!

Good gracious. I hope an emergency never comes up for you and you forget your phone and need to borrow somebody else's phone. Hopefully for your sake they'll never react about their precious phone the way you react about yours.

No, I don't want other peoples germs on my phone. The only exceltion to this are pretty girls, they can hold it any time.

People I know, sure. Strangers, absolutely not.

This. If I can't trust family and friends with my phone, I have much bigger things to worry about.

I let anyone and everyone hold it. It's just a $299 phone.

That's the subsidized price though. If you have to buy a new one at full retail, that $299 becomes $749.

I would not let a stranger use my phone in the vast majority of situations. The risk of theft aside, there's too much personal data on these devices that could be lost. I will make a call for someone in an emergency, but not hand over the device.

I let strangers handle my phone all the time at work. If they steal it, there are cameras and I tend to know their names, phone numbers, and addresses due to the nature of my job, as well as video cameras. They can't just steal it and get away with it.

Yeah I do as long as I sense they are OK people. I'm gonna be a little wary of letting someone in a trench coat hold it but if another geek asks (which most of them are) why not? Other people have done the same for me. Thats what helped me decide on getting the Plus since someone let me hold their Note 3.

I never forget my phone, I have never, not one single time. Ever.

Also I can't think of any emergency that I particularly would be in where there wasn't some type of major business, family member, or friend nearby.

I wouldn't ask someone to hold/use their very expensive phone, especially someone I don't know.

----------

I have never damaged a phone, it would be just my luck that I let someone use/hold my phone and they drop it and shatter it, guess who's stuck with that problem... not them.

The week I got the phone I was going to rent a public storage and the manager attending me asked if he could hold my 6+ to get a feel for it. He then another of his coworkers held it.

A lot of feeling going around ;)

I let people I know hold it for a short period while in my presence.

Strangers? No not all under ANY circumstances. It's a $900 phone and I don't pay for carrier insurance.

The first day I got it my coworkers passed it around. It was kind of fun showing it off. No drops. People were careful.

Only people close to me that I know, like my wife or kids. Everyone else, no. I think it was Katt Williams who once said, "it's not a uPhone, usPhone or wePhone, it's and iPhone as in my iPhone and no you can't touch it!"

It's a PHONE, u let people hold your new born baby, but you won't let them hold your phone.
Let's not be materialistic idiots!

I have a lot of sensitive info on my iPhone, so I am not too fond of letting people hold it, even relatives. However, when it's locked, it's fine. It only recognizes my single fingerprint, so no harm done.

Its only a phone. If it drops and shatters? Repair it or replace it. Spoit human relationships? Hard to repair.

Completely not realistic thinking whatsoever. Just trust the fact that you will be in THAT emergency sometime in your life. You're just dreaming up anecdotes and once again it's unrealistic.
