Poll: Do you use a 14-inch or a 16-inch MBP?

16" here, but I don't travel with it (iPad for that).
Ultimately I decided on the 16" because I wanted the most screen real estate. Didn't care at all about the additional weight.
Neither.
17”. There is nothing like looking at the 17” high-res anti-glare display. I’ve owned quite a few of each generation and whenever I don't have one, I get twitchy and buy a few like candy. Strip them, clean em, spruce them up with new bits & bobs, and set them free to run amok out in the world again. They’re the most awesome MBP, that Apple just never got quite right.
But my favorite pairing was years ago, when I’d use the 2015 Retina MBP plugged into a 30” Apple Cinema display, with the little pinnacle of the unibody macs, the 2012 13”, as a portable itunes library off to the side. Then when I either had other ppl over or wanted to keep working on my couch across the room & use the big ACD as a tv, I’d just take out the 15 and plug the 13 in its place, & viola, instant media center. It was pretty sweet with the ir remote. Both computers are the battleships of their line. After the last drive finally died I bought a pair of 8tb ssd‘s for that little 13” and put a 4tb WD Black ssd in the 15”. Pretty great.
16 just makes me mad that apple wont make a proper 17, and 14, what even is that…

I had a 16" M1P. When I exchanged an iPad pro for a 14" M1P, I sold my 16". Portability became a priority last couple of months, Thought I would use the iPad but changed my mind. To be true, 16" was a better one. The 2" difference made bigger impact. Using split view was better on 16". I am not a heavy user but do feel that sometimes my 14" gets warm especially with the palmrest areas. With my 16", it was never an issue. When I use trackpad a lot, on 14" I'd be forced to keep my palm on the edge, which really becomes uncomfortable after 20-30 minutes. On the 16", I never felt so.

Sold my amazing Midnight 13" MBAir, M2 Mini, and Studio Display. Picked up a a MBPro 16". I'm relocating overseas (US>EU) and am going to try out the single-machine/single-screen life!
Awesome decision! Congrats! Yeah, that type of moving made me stick with 15-16 inch offerings.
I had a 14, felt a tad small, excellent machine! Ended up with a 15 MBA - originally had a 16, M1 loved that machine! Just never left the house..
I had a 14" iBook back in the day, but went 15" in 2006 and am still there. If I was to buy one today then I'd probably go for a 16".
I use my 16" M1 Max MBP as the lower screen & keyboard together with a 27" LG Ultrafine above.
Both run at native resolution (3456x2234 and 5120x2880). Have about 20 workspaces open on the lower screen and about 5 on the top screen.
The 16" screen is really clear (text is typically about 4 to 5 point in size) which allows me to run like that.
Works very well for CAD + big spreadsheets and lots of pdf's.
When I am away overseas (for up to a month at a time), I only use the 16" screen but that is adequate.
Screen is too big to use when flying - especially in small planes but that is the downside of the larger screen.
I also have a M1 MBA for content consumption but the screen is too small to be productive for work.

The 14” just has better form factor and weight imho. As much as I would love the extra screen real estate, the 16” is too heavy to feel like a useful laptop and would probably almost always sit at my desk unfortunately.
And there are a lot of people using older Intel-based MBPs as well. The poll as written excludes the majority of the MBP user base.
That might be deliberate. OP might only be interested in the popularity distribution of these two specific models as they are pretty much identical except size.
14" M2 and I'm digging it. I came from a 27" iMac and had my doubts. I figured I'd get a 27" monitor if it was to small but I think I'm good.
