Hot corners.

Yeah, terribly untrendy of me or whatever, but I've used them for exposé functions since 10.3 and back then it was the best way imo.

It's essentially no different to gestures really, just a directional swipe, you merely have to learn not to accidentally trigger it which in turn I feel improves your pointer accuracy.

Gestures, much much easier for me. I tried using BTT but with all the different options you could use, it got to be a little overwhelming for me

One of the most used gestures I used to use on Snow Leopard was the 4-finger horizontal swipe to change apps. Now, I have to use CMD+TAB..

There is 3rd party hacks that enable this, but they aren't quite the same (for example, in Snow Leopard, a 4-finger swipe left/right then lifting would just switch to that app, something that 3rd party hacks don't automatically select). I don't see why Apple took this functionality away - it works on full screen apps, but you can have it work on windowed apps too without causing issues.

Another one is the Show Desktop gesture. In Snow Leopard, a simple swipe up, something you could do while dragging a file. Now in Lion, it's an awkward gesture that you cannot carry out while dragging a file.

I like some of the iPad "evolved" gestures on Lion, but the Show Desktop one I just can't stand..

I use keyboard shortcuts. I do have a 2008 MBP on Snow Leopard so there are some gestures available on it, but it doesn't allow the full array as far as I know.

This is another reason that I like hotcorners.

I Actually Use Gestures

With my MM, but voted trackpad, since it's the closer option. I can't seem to get on with a trackpad, although I have no problems with my Air or Pro. Maybe I'm just used to my MM.

I only use keyboard shortcuts for things like copy and paste and printing functions.....Evrything else is gestures.

Yeah, I still use hot corners, thankfully we've still got them. Was used to them during Tiger and Leopard, but when I got my multitouch trackpad I then got used to the 4 finger swipes, and prefer them to the hot corners.

I'm not going to lie, I'm not entirely sure what gestures are.. Is that like the 3 finger swipe?

Anywho, I use keyboard shortcuts a lot.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

Both about the same amount.
