Not being a statistician, but I think you're going to have trouble averaging that list. Some of your groups comprise 3 years, some 4, 5, and even 6.

Membership in an age group, yes, but I don't think you'll get average age from this poll.

Still, interesting. I knew I was an old roadapple, but dang you kids...
 
It's median and this poll won't work for the reason stated above.

Take it from a 40 year old.
 
27 hear. I still feel like I'm 18, and often have people think I look around 20-21ish, and going by voice they tell me I'm in my late 40s/early 50s..

Isn't the minimum age you can be to have an account 13?

Also, and I know this has been said before but, how do us 18 year olds vote?!
 
It might show the predominant age bracket of:
  • Those that read MR, who,
  • Find this thread before it's closed or forgotten, and,
  • Respond to internet polls in the first place.

Nice try, though. 😉

None of those are things that only one age does so pretty even
