Using as my daily phone. So far so good. No issues I can think of, or at least that were triggered by me using the device as I normally do.

Yeah it's pretty terrible. Even simple things like double space to put s period don't work. Hoping it's like 7 where the next beta is a world better. Stay away from this one unless you really don't care about your device

iOS 8 Beta 1 is day and night better than the first beta for iOS 7 was.

I am sorry but I am just not having any of the major issues others are reporting. Except for some minor ones.

Definitely not suitable for daily use.

I've tried it on my iPad Mini and it's very laggy at first and a lot of apps crash. I only use my iPad Mini to watch movie so I guess it's still usable.

Also I couldn't find any new feature to play with.

I'm sure B2 will be a huge improvement. I'm kind of regretting this install, but I do like the benefits of ios 8 already. But yes, tons of bugs, almost an alpha IMO.

I haven't had many crashes, so I suppose that makes it "stable". I have come across several bugs though that are quite annoying at times.

For a first beta version, iOS 8 works fairly well, for what it is. It does work differently, well or poorly, on each type of compatible device I have.
I would give three different ratings, where the iPad 3 gets the highest, the iPhone 5 gets the middle, and the iPod Touch 5 gets the lowest.
