iPod touch Poll: Is your iPod having any of these problems?

After reading all the threads about how some people are already having problems with their new iPod Touch, I decided to start this poll to see how many people are having issues with their new iPod, and what type of issues!
 
Light leakage, really small 2 dots on the right side ... not sure if I will bother returning it, since it will be in my pocket most of the time anyways. (Bought it for music mainly)
 
All these defects is making me regret ordering it! I should have wait for a while.

They really need to step up their quality control
 
It's no the matter of quality control, it's just Apple reduced the cost of production even more.
 
My new ipod feels like its overheating even after just 10 minutes of a 3D game and the camera only works for other apps not for facetime or the camera app that came with it, so i'm getting it replaced today. But my brothers ipod has had none of these isssues . But Overall the new ipod is a big step up from the last gen.

I'm curious why you think it's a big step up from the 32G/64G last gen ?

The A4 is slightly faster and it has the same RAM (i.e. performance is slightly better) so is it the subpar cameras or new display that makes it a big step up from the last gen ?

Also out of curiosity, did you own either the 32G or 64G last gen Touch for comparison purposes ?
 
Mine has light leaks, the screen can be pushed up and down in the corner, the battery is draining fast, AND there are annoying clicking noises in the video.

It drains fast even when not using cameras? If yes that would be weird since the new touch got higher capacity battery than previous generation, which was already good. Maybe Apple's A4 chip is draining it fast....
 
I don't know, I would heavily recommend people really pay attention to their recordings.

The clicking doesn't drown your audio out, it's just steadily on the background, clicking away when you're connected to wifi. Easy to miss if you're not paying attention in playback or not connected to wifi when you record.

Wow, just tried it. Yep, mine has that too. :\

Can we confirm anyone that DOESN'T have it? I'm getting this replaced sometime next week (local store is sold out of the 32GB).

there's so much HISS that the clicks are faint, by comparison.
 
There's 2 really small (fraction of a millimeter) dots by the right side... it can be only seen from the front angle.

I didn't vote that one, but I also found clicking sounds.

Good observations-- I just did two videos recording, one with wi-fi on and one without. It's true that once I turned wi-fi off there were no clicking sounds. :eek:
 
My screen has a yellow tint at the top (about a 1/2 down). Barely noticeable except on whites. I'll bring it up to the Apple store sometime next week and compare it with the store models. If I notice other defects among those I won't return, but if there are some noticeable differences for the better. I'll make an exchange.
 
I'd like another option for being "Not Delivered"
