[Poll] Modern Buckle vs Leather Loop - which do you prefer?

The unique situation with the leather bands are is that the type available to you is dependent on the size of your Watch. 40mm can exclusively use Modern Buckle, while the Leather Loop is only available for 44mm users.

I myself prefer the Leather Loop. It's actually unisex (unlike Modern Buckle), has a unique style, is comfortable to wear and is easy to put on. And now is significantly cheaper, while Modern Buckle remains with a hefty price tag

I would buy Leather Loop in a heartbeat if it fit the 40mm. Not a big fan of the Modern Buckle (though I've never owned one).

Modern loop definitely. To the point that I purchased a series 5 44mm after owning 38 before.
I personally think the modern buckle is a feminine strap.

How, exactly, does the Modern Buckle band interact with genitalia? Is there some prerequisite of which I am unaware? Looks to me that either one could be worn by either gender, if they have the correct size of Watch and wish to do so.

Leather loop for me because they make them large enough to comfortably fit my wrist. And it's just super comfortable.

I just feel like the watch faces haven’t looked “chic” enough for me to get the leather band. They still seem like a piece of tech in my mind.

The Hermès single tour bands are the most unisex and most traditional bands. They are also the best built. I wore the same band for 2 years and it still looks good. I’d still be using it except I switched to the Noir Hermès so the lugs don’t match.

The leather loop can look good sometimes but often it just gives off this musky 80's office vibe, especially the Ti model hooked up to a saddle brown leather loop. On the other hand (no pun intended) the modern buckle is slender and has a refreshing design.

IMHO both Apple leather bands are fine but are not worth the asking price. The leather loop is 90% magnets while the modern buckle is a very thin strip of leather. Hermes (for obvious reasons), Clockwork Synergy, and Bandwerk have better offerings.

If the modern buckle was just a little bit wider and made for the 44mm I'd love to have one. As it stands its a little to narrow for my taste. I own the black leather loop and love it fwiw.

I was lucky enough to get a forest green 3rd party leather loop for my 40 mm before they were also discontinued. The ones I find now are not strictly loops. Only leather bands for apple watch with magnets.

Just got the Brown Leather Loop for my S5 SG 44mm and i really, really like it. Very comfortable and looks great. Modern Buckle just not for me but still looks great if that's your taste.
