Milanese loop with the early lead,somewhat surprising

SS w/ Milanese Loop. Tried it on at the Apple store at least 2 different days and am completely happy with my order. My primary concern was the strength of the magnet and that thing is really strong. I put the band on tight and flexed and the magnet wouldn't even move.

No leather loop? Proves my initial thoughts. That the leather loop is the most lopsided in price, some cheap leather and a few magnets, 149.00? I have the 6+ leather case it fell apart and was very cheaply made

I am surprised by this. I wanted the blue leather loop just as bad as the milanese and I ordered it separately after taking a few days to decide. I ended up canceling it since I order a black sport band also and two bands should be enough to start with at least for the first few months. I really want the leather loop but I don't understand why they are charging so much for it. I think the SS in the milanese loop with hold up much better over time, but i guess only time will tell.

I bought the SS model with a milanese loop, stone leather, white sport band. I'm very tempted to get the links also. It's $449 though so quite expensive.

Actually the leather loop was my first choice, but since it had a 4-6 week delivery date, I purchased a SS watch with a sport band to receive it at launch. I am somewhat concerned that the leather will have the shortest life span, so getting spot band to wear occasionally seemed like a good way to supplement it. You're right about the price, but it seems consistent with Apple's price points.
