To the guys/gals that got the new iPhone4, did you restored it from a back up, or not?

Thanks,

Rob

i voted 2 and 3. its always safer to start fresh. plus it feels like even more of a new phone if you do. its easy to re-arrange apps for like 2 minutes. any youd have to sync music anyways.

I agree Fresh is the way to go, but then you have to add all the mail account (i dont sync email accounts with my MacBook), and when i did a fresh start from iPhone edge to 3Gs, i lost all the data in my apps (progress in games and info in utility and productivity apps).

It's fun to start Angry Birds from the beginning again 🙂
Since it was a new phone I selected to format as a new phone. Sort of spring cleaning and went through every app and song before I opted to sync..

Restored from backup; I didn't want to lose all of my stuff. I've had no problems whatsoever, and the whole process took about 15 minutes tops.

Had issues with restore from backup so I did a second, clean restore and started fresh. It was tough to recreate 2+years of stuff, but it was worth it to get around bugs like proximity sensor.

Started from new this time since my 3Gs was JB and didn't want the issues some of my friends said they were having.
