    Just trying to quantify things as the unhappy tend to post more than those who are satisfied.

    so far so good to me. the keyboard takes a bit getting used to but overall i was ready for the downfalls and think so far that the iphone is a good fit for me.

    my only "disappointments" were ones i already knew walking in: no gps, no 3g, no sdk. none of those are deal killers, nor hugely disappointing.

    the one unknown "disappointment" is so far mail doesn't seem to support IMAP IDLE, so no blackberry-esque communication.

    I wish my dad would have bought one, but he had to go buy some crappy Bose system. iCan't believe my Dad is an iDouche!

    I absolutely love mine. Without a doubt the coolest piece of tech I've ever laid hands on. My girlfriend said it best, "it seems like it should cost way more than $600."

    You should have had an option like, "Some minor issues have marred this experience. Still fantastic, though." That would have been my choice -- I've seen some things that need to be addressed; however, overall I am extemely satisfied. It has lived up to the hype.

    Wonderful phone for now. Very happy with it. Would like spam filter for mail, better mail sync, and... ringtones.... and hmm 3G??

    But it's all i wanted with what it has now...

    iPhone=Great AT&T=Mediocre

    The iPhone is awesome, no doubt in my mind. But, AT&T service around here (central Maine) is mediocre at best, although no service around here is that good except US Cellular, and their phones blow ass.
