Both my iPad Air and iPhone SE are white front/silver back. Had the black for my first iPhone, a 3Gs, and wished I'd bought the white one after a couple of weeks. Since then I've always gone with the white/silver combo.
Product red iPhone is the best color on iPhone 7 line-up. Only red can scream that the owner has the latest iPhone like I am.

Whatever you want it to look like. Neucase will customize in your color choice.
The website isn't the most useful advertisement for them.

Is that a case or do I send my phone in and they paint it?
It's not a case, and they don't paint it.
They anodize the casing of the phone in the color of your choice. It's not cheap though. About $300. Your current casing is replaced with the custom one and they send the old casing back to you for 'warranty' purposes.
Housing are on eBay for $30 red and different custom colors. I feel bad for the people paying hundreds for this by that other company

Why would you feel bad for them?. What Somebody chooses to do with there money and spend it on something that a company specializes in like Nuecase. I would rather much have a product like that knowingly it will look legitimate and professional, which will likely look better over time over a cheap $30 casing. Each has their own preferences.

I know my limitations. The smallest thing I ever worked on was a 12" PowerBook G4. By the time I was done with it I broke two keys, stripped the wires on the sleeplight, ran the wrong screw through the logicboard (and used a hacksaw on the end sticking outside the case) and caused three thermal shutdowns because I left the heatsink off the processor!
The last time I wielded a soldering gun I destroyed the speaker output on a monitor.
I'll pay $300 because I get what I want and I don't ruin the damn thing by my own hand.
I freely admit I do NOT and never will have the skills it takes to work on something as small as a cellphone.
Cheap $30 housing?? Nuecase are probably using those same cases
And I feel sorry because a lot of people probably didn't know about the housings on eBay and that nuecase probably uses those same housing
That's highly inaccurate and No they don't use "Those same cases.". You should research Nuecase, because clearly you don't have any knowledge about the company and their product history. They specialize is customization.
This is one of those cases where ignorance plays a role. And you're wrong and I question Nuecase would highly disagree with your assertion. Did you not read what @eyoungren posted earlier to you?
And didn't you read Nuecase uses a custom anozidaztion process that customizes the casing to any color you want. Again, they don't use cheap $30.00 cases, which you have no way of proving to begin with. Please research the company before making any other false generalizations.
