Poll: What's the video card in your Mac

Dear all,

For developing a 3D game engine, we want to poll what's the common video card used by you great Mac owners Could you please reply with your video card model or help me create a poll. Many thanks and have a great day!

I'd suggest you look up the data from apple's quaterly results, take a look at the stock video cards that come with the respective macs and then consider what type of audience you want.

Personally it's a Geforce 9600M

Those are the one out of memory that most Mac users have. Obviously pre late 2008, many other Mac Users had the POS Intel Integrated GPUs.

I've got this one ATI Radeon HD 5670. Hope you get the 3D engine working well and you manage to find the quarterly results but theres mine if you can'y, good luck.

OK.

The Video card in my Mac Pro is an nVidia 8800GT, which replaced a 2nd-hand ATI? 2600 which replaced the original nVidia 7600.

Each successive upgrade improved video performance though my main reasoning was to improve Render times.

Mission accomplished on both fronts. I'm very happy with the current configuration.

The Mac Mini has only the onboard Intel GMA950 ? and isn't especially impressive.

I'm using an HD4870 in my main machine. My laptop has an X1600 but I'm not using that for gaming.

As mentioned, many older lower end Macs have the GMA950. if your target is people who game,no one will have that card. It would be safe bet to say that the 9400M would be your starting point.

I don't see mine listed. My Powerbook has the ATI Radeon 9700.

OK, so the Mini actually has the Nvidia 9400 so it is somewhat recent.
