Agreed. I would love to see a 7" iPad.

A 7" ipad would suite me perfectly. I just hope it's 16:9 instead of nearly square. But I don't have high hopes for a 16:9 version. But if they do come out with the ipad mini I would buy it. It would be my first ios device.

I've found that my Kindle Fire and Nook friends still use their tablets in portrait mode most of the time, and everything is just a bit too "skinny." The Nexus is 16:10 and should be better, but I haven't seen one in person yet.

I don't believe they will release it in September. Maybe a march release along side the "newest" iPad.
