Had an issue with my new AirPods Pros that required me taking them to an authorised repair agent for assessment. (New Zealand doesnt have a physical Apple Store)
I ended up getting a full replacement. However the replacement unit only came with size L ear tips. However i found that the small size were the best fit for me. But my size Small were on my old pair that I had sent back. Spent an hour on support chat with two different Apple support agents trying to get this issue sorted. Do you think they could? No.

They said that Id have to send the whole AirPods Pro unit back to Apple to be swapped. This is despite the fact you can purchase replacement tips online for a few bucks.

Cant believe how poor their after sales support are these days. My last three interactions have been extremely poor. Back in the day the support was second to none. I remember one time when they forgot to gift wrap an ipad I purchased online as a gift they refunded me the cost of the gift wrap and sent me a free Apple leather folio case. Guess Timmy's apple is all about penny pinching these days.

No apple store here as well
I rang Apple CC and after some troubleshooting they recommended replacement. So only the new earbuds are sent by Apple, and i am required to send back just the (faulty) earbuds.
Whats annoying is that they didnt send a complete unit replacement. I know the charging case pins are not making contact and but they dont believe that.
so there will be another cycle of replacement. Fair enough

Just to add, CC is just ok but what is not is Apple's Quality Control these days.
Imagine if this was Macbook pro and you get entangled in this CC mess - troubleshooting, returns and rinse and repeat after spending an arm and leg on the MBP

the Most expensive device I would buy from Apple is the iPhone due to the quality issues I’ve read about there computers.
