poor battery life new MBP?

Hey guys,

I bought a refurbished MBP from apple, a few weeks ago. Its the one with the i5 so I know its the newer batch with the 7-8 hour battery. All I use this for is basically internet and typing and stuff. No games or photoshop or stuff like that. I've noticed I get about 3hrs of battery. Also the past 2 days, I closed my laptop with about 60% power in the morning, when I get off of work 10-12 hours later and come back home my laptop is dead. Is this something I should take up with apple?

I think if there is any doubt in your mind, just bring it by the Apple Store and have them look at it.
