Woohoo name calling. Erm............... Rusty Bullet Hole

You are going around insulting everyone.... try to have a better demeanor with others.... and there will be no name-calling!

In the end, it keeps your thread orderly. Go all the way back when you first called me "Mug" (british insult.... but nonetheless...). Not really necessary!

Have fun with your Dell! 😀

Then stop complaining and buy that Dell!

But you can't do that..... too bad; stop bitching!

Fanboy much? I'm just saying that Apple's QC is terrible these days. They used to be better. My 1st generation iPhone had PERFECT build quality. Then I got a 3G. ****** phone for sure. Un even glass, slanted buttons... in a phone I payed $499 for 😱
If I pay $1199 for a over hyped MBP, it BETTER be DEFECT FREE! It doesn't have modern hardware, so if they want to sell if for a rip off, they better use some of the $$$ for QC.

I guess I am a Fanboy (not quite an insult to me)... Over the years:
  • 3 iPods
  • 2 Macbooks
  • 2 MBP
  • 2 iPhones
  • 1 Mac Mini G4
  • 1 Airport Extreme
  • 1 Airport Express
  • + Mice and keyboards
(not to mention the 5 Macbooks that have been bought by others on my recommendation)

Of all these, I had ONE with any hardware issues, that AAPL replaced.... Other than that, not even a dead pixel!! No harware or cosmetic defects!!

So why should I not be a "Fanboy"? 😀

You on the other hand; have SOOOO MUCH to complain about.... so don't buy them!!!!

"Latitude D620 hackintosh" Enjoy that!

Considering you're "cheatin" the system anyway, with your hackintosh & jailbroken iPhone; why should any company care about you as a customer?

Why're you so mad?? Somebody lopped off yours??

Sorry I can't respond further, I'm so mad I'm shaking with the rage. 🙄

Anyway I had it 'lopped off' as you put it, professionally

Yeah, I got a similar story to PakMan. In the last 3 years, I've bought:

1 iMac 27"
2 MacBooks
2 MacBook Pro's
2 iPhones

Only issue I ever had was with the known expanding battery on the MacBooks. But the Apple store gave me a new battery and cleaned the MacBook without any problems. That's a pretty good track record that is going to keep me going back to Apple.

If you read my sig, it said my iPhone was NOT jailbroken.🙄🙄
And I got a good deal for the D620. I'm still getting a Mac. Probably August 14 or 15. Tax free day in MA. I'm just saying that some issues that macintoshes have are pathetic. And about the Dells at Staples. When the lid was closed, it sit perfectly. No over hang, or any noticeable issues with assembly. That being said, the computers were still poor quality. ESP the 17" they had. The top lid was plastic and a display panel. No metal frame is seems. the top lids were SO flimsy, you could snap it. The trackpad was terrible (Apple has a great trackpad) and the keyboard was cheap. That being said, it was $699, and not $1199. However with its cheap build, everything was still lined up, and it had modern hardware. My point was, I never see computers that have displays that don't line up with the base when closed, except Apple's.
With all the cheap glossy plastic, its very flimsy. Thats why I'm glad Apple uses Aluminum.

Also, me calling you a fanboy wasn't meant to be an insult. But when people defend Apple, and tell others who have OCD and are concerned that their $1199 investment has a small flaw (that cheap computers don't have) to **** off, and then to buy a cheap perfect computer really makes the person sound like a fanboy. Just saying.
