I won't lie when I say that Goat Simulator is probably the worst game I've bought on Steam (from a list of 60 games). How does it get called app of the week I have no idea. Unless people REALLY like stupidity like this.
It's a generic sandbox game

I never played it so can't answer that. Don't really game at all. But the trailer is epic.
It was the trailer that made me feel sick. Had to stop after 20 seconds. I guess that's just me? My body and mind are pretty intolerant to graphic violence.

I was a video gamer throughout my youth (35-25 years ago), but I am pleased these types of titles were not available then. Rightly or wrongly, the rise in human-cenric graphic violence that is available to players does make me wonder about the modern human psyche.

I downloaded the game earlier this week when I found it was free. I played it yesterday.
the game is nothing great, i got bored and it is now deleted off my phone.

for all the hype over the years i was expecting something different. oh well. to each their own.

I love this game. It's just a big sandbox to explore and cause chaos in.

This will outpace Mario Run in downloads in the next 24 hours.
They just took the wind out of their sails and sales.
And the goat can run offline to boot!
I hope you don't seriously think that.

Goat Simulator is fun, but pretty unknown. Super Mario Run has the national media's attention.

Studies have already proven that video games don't actually make you violent. Go to bed Grandpa Iceman :D

Right... Just like smoking tobacco doesn't cause lung cancer.

I guess there will always be two sides opposed to each other, thanks to massive Lobbyism by the entertainment industry.

Only time will tell...

So far, from what I have experienced and also seen around me, it does.

Us North Americans are pretty sheltered. I've read that this is due to the fact that we haven't been invaded. More than 30 years ago my mother told me stories of when her 10 year old brother was shot at by nazis and he came home crying because his clothes got dirty and ripped. People can be very nice and they can be monsters.
