Am I the only one who hated this game? I seriously don't get the appeal. You literally do nothing.
You don't literally do nothing. :D You fly around and touch stuff to unlock later stuff. It has a pretty traditional structure, and hidden things to find, and a story (though an abstract environmental one.) I can see why a lot of people don't like it but it's great for what it is.

No iAP, just a fun, relaxing, ad free iOS game. I’m more than happy to pay $5 for something like this. Downloading now.

It's truly an awesome game - but I don't see it working well at all on a small screen that you'd also be swinging around to guide the stream of petals?

Total zen on the PS3, though.

Never heard of this game before, but a lot of people mentioning how it was great on playstation (on a big TV I imagine), makes me think it would be cool if they released it for TV as well.

Bought in an instant. Journey on iOS is one step closer...

Oh, and its A$7.99 in the aussie store, to bring the thread back off topic.

It works well. I was a bit surprised by the motion control initially, but you get used to it pretty quickly.

Replying just to promote the #deathtoiap narrative! I’ve proudly hacked games in order to bypass the stupid iap paywall that some devs install in their apps. I’m happy to pay a couple of bucks more to unlock a game’s potential (Nintendo, I see you!), and the devs deserve it. There comes a point when iaps prevent someone from progressing in a game due to their low SES.

Don't forget that most US users will have to pay their local sales tax of up to 10% on top of the $5. The 5 quid already includes VAT.

Unless I'm mistaken, Apple doesn't charge sales tax on iTunes Store purchases. So, if an app, song, or video costs $5, then $5 is all you pay.

Of course, if you're super honest, you can voluntarily pay taxes on your online purchases when filing your tax returns, but seriously, how many actually do that? :p

Whilst I really like the the chill out nature of this game, it's clumsy as hell to control on a 12.9" iPad

It's €5.49 in Europe.

€5.49 is $6.50 not $5..
I know right? :(

Add 20% VAT and it becomes £4.50
And add hedge against Brexit.

I am sorry but VAT for what? It is a "internet product" not a physical, there must be a difference in VAT.
I can buy from UK using US Apple ID, officially, and pay 5 dollars, but if I do through UK I pay Tax? Makes no sense unless there are specific rules. The app is not "made" in US to add tax in UK. Confusing ...

Apps are subject to VAT.
VAT is taken based on the location set in your Apple ID.

What's confusing here?

Hey all. I have been trying out Flower on iOS. Is there a way to save the progress of a game? Seems like I always have to start at the beginning
