New update rolled out today, docx export and automatic backups:

BACKUP
- Automatic backup of your entire text library (iCloud or On My iPad)
- Hourly backup for the last 6 hours of work
- Daily backup for the last 5 days of work
- Weekly backup for the last 2 months of work
- Restore single sheets or entire groups

Some other things of note is now that you can split and merge sheets, writing goals, and the previews can now have up to 6 lines. And they added a keyboard shortcut for marking a sheet as a favorite.

The only thing I don't like is that you can't get a user-accessible backup unless you manually go into the system library and copy the gibberish files to a flash drive or Dropbox folder.

Quick question, does Ulysses have a feature that parallels the little synopsis cards in Scrivener? If you use document notes for this feature, can you search the library by document notes?

It seems like when you get 100+ pages, it will hard to locate one you want.

They don't have library search. They have "filters" instead where you can set conditions based on text, keywords, and modified date.

Strangely, they don't let you search notes, just the document text.

Thank you for the feedback. I've really tried to like Ulysses, but I just can't seem to get with its flow and methods. I keep going back to Scrivener, even for private writing, because of the reasons in my post here.
