what irritate me more is now that every boy/girl will be thinking they're in a fastest car on the road and drive recklessly with their newly acquired license.
I doubt every boy/girl with a newly acquired license would be able to afford a $35,000 car.

I am not typically a Honda Fan, besides the NSX and S2000

My first car was a 1985 Prelude. Memories!

The final model was just a beautiful, classy car.

I forgot about the Prelude, I will add that to my list, although I would put the NSX and S2000 in front of it.

Never like Hondas that much, especially the Civic, due to the trendiness of it, but the NSX, S2000, and Prelude were nice. I might end up getting an S2000 in the next few years.

I have a Nissan Maxima, 290 HP at the front wheels give you some torque steer of you push it off the line. Not fun haha

This has a lot to do with the suspension/driveline geometry. If it was not designed (or poorly designed) for that amount of torque, then torque steer could be an issue.

I read an article a while back saying that Honda had some new suspension design to reduce any torque steering in the new Type-R.

They might also do what Mazda did with the Mazdaspeed 3, and reduce the boost for 1st and 2nd gear.

Again, it would have been nice for them to make the Type-R an AWD drivetrain. Well, if I am asking for stuff, I would prefer it to be an switchable AWD/RWD system.

Cool news! I love CarPlay.
I just bought a fully loaded Kia Rio 2018 hatchback and it supports both, Android Auto and CarPlay.
I really didn't expect CarPlay to be good, but man! I know it relays on the iPhone hardware, but for some reason CarPlay Siri is way more responsive and faster than my iPhone's Siri... plus the fact that Apple Maps is great in Mexico City, and to have Apple Music access from the car's dashboard is excellent. It's encouraging that more car models support it.

Lots of spoil kids out there and lots of kids are working while in school. They can afford car payments. I've seen many kids driving cars that're more expensive than mine and I'm a working professional.

Guess you didn't attend my high school.

But, I really want an updated Cayenne please

Looks like you can get rice straight from the factory now.
Factory rice has been around forever.

Useless wings, racing stripes, fake exhaust tips.

Look at all the fake hood and fake side vents for example. Not just low and mid range cars have them, but Corvettes and Vipers have had fake vents before.

Yeah, spoiled rich kids, that is going to happen, but it probably won't be wide spread like the post I quoted before suggested. Also, if they can afford this car, there are plenty of other cars in the same price range that could be equally dangerous.

As for kids working, I don't think there are too many 16 year olds that can afford a car payment on a $35,000 car without help.

Or maybe I am wrong and I am out of touch, this is probably the case.

Ever tried one before?
You can take the EK9 to the track pretty much bone stock...

Oversteer, oversteer, oversteet, oversteer. Boring car to track if you've had any time spent in a halfway decent track vehicle.

I think you mean understeer...
He may have meant understeer, but....
FWD cars are notorious for understeer.
This is true, but FWD cars are also notorious for lift off oversteer, which is due to weight transfer from the light loaded rear to the heavy front during braking and/or lifting off the throttle going into a turn. After this, the rear wheels which are no longer loaded and oversteer happens. This might be what oldschoolmacguy meant.

RWD suffer from oversteer.
This is also true especially when too much throttle entering and exiting a turn, but with the heavy front, assuming it is an front engine, it can suffer from understeer too due to weight transfer, momentum, and loss of front tire grip.

And, if you want to throw in mid/rear engine RWD cars, they too suffer from oversteer and especially snap oversteer, worse than the FWD and front engine RWD cars (with everything else being equal). But, they can still understeer too. I own a mid engine car, and while it can be fun, it can also be scary when it comes to oversteer/snap oversteer.

Anyways, I mentioned weight transfer a lot, but there is more to it than that, such as traction/grip, momentum, suspension and other. I am pretty sure he meant liftoff oversteer.

If you are talking about lift off oversteer, I don't know how that could be boring. More challenging, and a little scary.

Assuming you meant oversteer, I wonder why it is a problem on the EK9? Suspension issue? or not enough rear grip?

I think BMW charges like $300-$500 for Carplay as an add-on. There's just something so wrong with that.

They have a reputation for having separate charges for things that most carmakers bundle in for free or just put in a package. If anyone were to have a fee for a feature designed to improve safety, it'd be BMW.
