Port forwarding problems...

I have been trying to get my port forward working all night to no avail!

I have set up a static ip in Network and then I followed portforward.com's guide to setting up a port forward for my router.

Transmission keeps telling me the port is closed, and when I check on random port sites, they also tell me it is closed!!!!!

I have no idea what is going on. Any advice?

Do I have to set up static ip via the router as well?

im also having the same problem and ive looked everywhere and tried everything and i still cannot get the port open. on my pc i can easily get the port opened but something on my mac is blocking it. i tried a method through terminal and it still is blocking the port
