I ported over from verizon. The "genius" told me I'd be able to make calls from the iPhone, but probably wouldn't receive them for a couple hours. It's been over 12 hours since activation, still can't receive but i CAN make calls. My verizon phone still receives and makes calls.

AT&T told me sometimes it doesn't fully go into effect if you don't turn your previous carrier's phone off.

I've turned the old phone of numerous times. But I still need to receive calls. Now its been 24 hours, still hasn't switched over. Didn't the original iphone have problems like this?
