Anyone know if my computer will run portal 2 ok? I have a PS3 but I want to be able to play at work. So any input would be much appreciated. The specs of my MBP are in my sig.

you bought portal 2 for the ps3 right? if not do it! you get a free copy for steam on the computer!

what is "okay" with you? here's my short vid on a 2009 MB with 9400m, 2.26, 2gb ram; you'll get a few frames better with the CPU and maybe from ram. If you have bootcamp then you'll def see some more fps too

Valve should be applauded for its efficient development of games. They always put out quality games that look great and can easily run on 3 year old hardware.
I had the very same computer before my current MBP, and it ran all Valve games efficiently under BootCamp, including L4D2. Portal 2 still runs on the same Source engine as L4D, which was made back in 2008~. It all depends at what you consider 'playable'. Turning it down will give you a huge improvement!
